WICHITA, Kansas – Kansas Health Science Center (KHSC) has hired Molly Fox as the vice president of advancement.

A Wichita native, Fox spent the past six years as the vice president of marketing and development at Goodwill Industries of Kansas. The prior ten years, she was the director of development for Kidzcope, Newman University, and KPTS Public Television.

In 2019, Fox was named the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, an organization with a strong focus on professional development and ethical fundraising. Fox has been a member since 2004 and has served in various positions, including president. She is also a board member of the Wichita State University Alumni Association and was a Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2018. She graduated with her B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Wichita State University and received her MBA from Newman University.

“Molly’s extensive experience in fundraising and development will make her a critical part of the KHSC leadership team as we’re building this organization from the ground up. We’re thrilled to have her join the staff and work with us to advance our mission,” said Tiffany Masson, Psy.D., president of Kansas Health Science Center.

Fox will join KHSC staff on June 29. She will focus on fundraising efforts and setting up the school for growth.

“The opportunity plays well to my strengths and passions,” said Fox. “My focus initially will be on identifying community partners to develop the resources needed to finish the building project and advance the auxiliary projects that Dr. Masson is passionate about—scholarships for qualifying students, access to rural health care, creating mentorships and advancing medical technology—and making them happen financially,” she added.

Kansas Health Science Center is a nonprofit organization based in Wichita, with the goal of opening the proposed Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (applicant status-seeking accreditation).
